William Pizzute

William J. Pizzute, passed away peacefully at the age of 67 on October 11th, 2019. He grew up in Dumont and lived in Union.

He worked as a longshoreman for 17 years, and loved to spend his time off dancing, exercising and vacationing with his beloved family.  He enjoyed travelling to Colombia, Aruba and spent many summers on Long Beach Island.

Most of all he was a beloved family man and cherished being a dad, husband, brother, son, uncle and grandfather.  He is survived by his wife Mary Osorio, daughter Sara and husband Adam, step-son Juan and wife Ana. He was a proud Grandpi to Esteban, Sebastian, and Isla; brother to Linda, Patty, Tommy, Peggy, Lainie; and uncle to Vanessa, Lexie, Jamie, Stephanie, Christopher, Alyssa, Trevor, Zach; and a loyal friend and co-worker to many.

Preceded in death by his parents, William and Elaine, and his brother-in-law Phil.

Friends and family are welcome to drop by and pay their respects. A celebration of life will take place at Springfield Hillside Elks Lodge, 80 Springfield Ave. Springfield Township, NJ from 5pm-9pm Wednesday, October 16th.
