Thomas V. McAvoy, 65, passed away peacefully on May 23, 2019 surrounded by his family. Tom was born in Elizabeth and grew up in Roselle, New Jersey.  He resided in Randolph for the last 32 years, where he raised his family.

Tom graduated from Roselle Catholic High School in 1971 and the University of Delaware in 1975. He worked as certified public accountant at McAvoy & McAvoy, P.A. He was an avid stamp collector and loved spending time with his family.

Tom is survived by his wife of 35 years, Jean; his sons, Kevin of Morristown NJ and Brian of New York NY; and his daughter Kathleen of New Haven CT.  Tom was predeceased by his father Clarence, mother Genevieve, and sister Mary Kathryn Waseleski.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 from 4-8 PM at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10, Randolph. A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at 10 AM at the Resurrection Parish, 651 Millbrook Ave, Randolph. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Parkinson’s Foundation (www.parkinson.org).
