Joey Finnegan

Joseph Robert "Joey" Finnegan, 40 of Orange passed away on March 4, 2021.

Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation in celebration of Joey's life at the Galante Funeral Home, 54 Roseland Ave. Caldwell on Wednesday March 10 from 4-8 PM.

Born in Hackettstown, Joey grew up in Washington, NJ and lived in Easton, PA and in Jersey City until moving to Orange several years ago. He worked for Shop-Rite in East Orange as a clerk for 11 years until transferring to Shop-Rite in Union last year.

Joey was a punk rocker through and through, and most enjoyed attending live shows, and playing in his band Main Street Mayhem. Joey also liked to travel at every opportunity, and always looked forward to the next trip to the casino.

Joey married the love of his life, Crystal (nee Rose) Finnegan in Niagara Falls in 2013. He is survived by his loving wife, his father William Finnegan and wife Darlene, his brother Patrick Finnegan, step-brothers Christopher and Joshua Hilliker; adoring nephew Gavin and nieces Grace, Tessa, Sophia, Lucy and Aubrey. He was predeceased by his mother Joanne, and is also survived by his cherished fur babies Clover and Willy.
