George Gaydos 65, of Union, N.J.

passed away on Sunday January 12, 2020 at home.

A Memorial Visitation will take place on Monday January 20, 2020 from 5:30 - 8:30 PM

at the Galante Funeral Home 2800 Morris Avenue, Union.

A Memorial Service will be held at 7 PM in the Funeral Home

Born in Jersey City, N.J. he grew up in Kearny, N.J.  before moving to Union 35 years ago.

George worked for Peerless Beverage Co. in Union for 10 years

and then for Papermart in East Hanover, N.J. for 20 years retiring 3 years ago.

He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council # 4504 in Union

and was also a very active volunteer for the Union Township Little League,

and a member of Teamsters Local # 125.

George was the father of Renee, Rachel, and Steven Gaydos,

he was also the brother of Jeffrey and Joseph Gaydos.

He was predeceased by his late parents Anna (nee Wuss) and George F. Gaydos.
