Ates Vigilante (nee Yilmaz), 69 of Springfield, NJ passed away on September 17, 2021

Wife of Richard.

Mother of Attila his wife Erica, Altay his wife Lauren, Jem, Leyla West her husband Jason, and Ayla Pocaro her husband Steven.

Cherished Grandmother of Jaxson, Lincoln, Attila, Makayla, Alara and Ella.

Ates was born in Istanbul, Turkey, She lived in Newark before moving to Springfield 30 years ago.

She was working for Home Depot in Customer Service Department for 14 years, and also as a Front End Associate at Pathmark in Garwood NJ.

She was an avid Bowler, great cook and loved crocheting.

She loved and adored her Grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation at Galante Funeral Home at 2800 Morris Ave in Union on Wednesday from 3 - 7 PM.  A graveside Service will be held on Saturday October 2 at Fairview Cemetery in Westfield at 10AM.

Cremation will be held privately.
