Virginia A. Cedola, 80 of Cranford passed away on March 3, 2022.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation for Virginia at the Galante Funeral Home, 2800 Morris Ave. Union on Monday from 9 - 11 AM. A Funeral Service will be celebrated in the funeral home at 11 AM, and burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.

Born in Newark, Virginia lived in Union until moving to Cranford 20 years ago. She worked for the Fravessi Company in Springfield, and later as a sales representative for Nice Stuff in Union, until becoming a crossing guard in Union for the past 8 years. A fan of big bands, Virginia liked listening to Frank Sinatra, and watching old time movies.

The daughter of the late Nicholas and Josephine (nee Tranchite) Crego, Virginia was the beloved wife of the late Daniel Cedola; loving mother of Kim Lax and her companion Gary, and cherished grandmother of Jennifer and the late James.
