Vincenza "Jean" DePasquale

Vincenza "Jean" DePasquale, 94, of Union passed away at home on February 4, 2026.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation for Jean at the Galante Funeral Home, 2800 Morris Ave., Union on Thursday, February 19 from 6-8 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. James Church in Springfield on Friday at 10AM. Interment will follow at St. Magdalen Cemetery in Flemington.

Born in Brooklyn, NY, Jean was raised in Newark and resided there until moving to Union in 1965. She worked as a bookkeeper for Kean University in Union for over 20 years until her retirement in 1998. Jean was an avid gardener; her loved ones will always remember her beautiful flowers. She was also a wonderful cook, and was active in the Springfield Senior Citizens. Jean was a dedicated parishioner of St. James Church, and sang in the choir there for many years.

Jean was the beloved wife of the late Salvatore DePasquale; loving mother of Charles DePasquale and his wife Fara; dear grandmother of Ron DePasquale and Mark DePasquale; cherished great-grandmother of Cole DePasquale and sister of John Leone.
