Veronica Elliott

Veronica Elliott, of Eatontown, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on September 1, 2026. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and devoted member of her family.

Veronica was born and raised in Belleville, New Jersey. She worked as a beautician in Bloomfield and then went on to dedicate more than 30 years of her life as a beautician/nurse’s aide at Essex County Geriatric Center in Belleville before retiring. 

Veronica will be remembered for her generous heart, her love of family, and especially the joy she found in spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was an avid reader and enjoyed traveling, creating many cherished memories along the way. 

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, the late Robert Elliott, and her brothers, the late Gerald Natale and Peter Pribula. Veronica is survived by her daughter, Melissa Prill Perez and her husband, Manuel; as well as her sister, Lucille D’Ambola. She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren, Alissa Schweitzer, Arielle Sestito, and Alanna Perez, and her great-grandchildren, Noelle, Valentina, and Giovanni. She was a loving aunt to her nieces and nephews. Her family brought great joy to her life. 

Veronica’s love, kindness, and devotion to her family will remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation for Veronica at the Galante Funeral Home 2800 Morris Ave. in Union on Friday September 4 from 4 - 7 pm. Mass will be at 9:45 am Saturday September 5 at Holy Spirit Church in Union followed by burial at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Bloomfield.
