Theodore Patino, 63 of Hillside passed away on November 5, 2021.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation for Theodore at the Galante Funeral Home, 2800 Morris Ave. Union on Wednesday November 10 from 4-8 PM. Born in Manhattan, NY, Theodore lived in Newark before moving to Hillside in 1991. He was a plant supervisor for Old London, later CPC Foods in the Bronx until his retirement ten years ago. Theodore was a faithful and devoted member of the Calvary Assembly of God, serving as a handyman and jack of all trades, and did what he could to support his church and his community. A selfless gentleman, he never turned down someone in need, whether they needed a repair looked at, or some advice from his deep well of wisdom. A model train enthusiast, Theodore also enjoyed NASCAR races and following the stock market. Above all, he treasured time spent with his grandchildren.
The dear son of Theodore Patino and the late Providencia (nee Lorenzo), Theodore was the beloved husband and best friend of Yolanda (nee Rodriguez) Patino; loving father of Josh Patino and his wife Julie and Veronica Kelly and her husband Michael; and adoring grandfather of MJ and Benjamin. He is also survived by his siblings Naldy Rodriguez, Miriam Patino and her husband Fernando Cruz, Evelyn, Olga, Enid, Carol and Teresa.
