With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of our precious daughter Stefanie Marie Lopez, whose presence will be deeply missed. Although her life was short and filled with many challenges, she always expressed kindness and compassion for others. When not attending her program, her days were filled with arts and crafts, crocheting hats for those in need or trying to find a TV show about dogs.

Stefanie is survived by her loving parents Anthony and Deborah Lopez, her brother, the light of her life, Anthony M., his wife Alyssa and Stef’s beautiful nephew Lorenzo. She is also survived by her grandparents Alfonso and Gloria Lopez and Robert and Janet Fordney. She will forever be in the hearts of her Uncle Mike and Aunt Debbie Fordney, Uncle Rich and Aunt Cathy Lopez and Uncle Marc and Aunt Jeanne Lampasona, as well as her many cousins. Stefanie was predeceased by her grandmother Joan Fordney and her Uncles Bobby and Kenny Fordney.

As we bid Stefanie farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Stefanie is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 24, 2025 from 2-6pm at the Galante Funeral Home, 2800 Morris Avenue Union, NJ 07083
