Sofia Kizoulis (nee Komninakis), 96, of Volada Karpathos, Greece, passed away on Jan. 28, 2012.
The funeral is from the Galante Funeral Home, 2800 Morris Ave., Union, NJ on Tuesday at 10 am. The funeral will be held at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, Union, at 11 am. Interment is in Fairview Cemetery, Westfield. Visitation is on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm.
Sofia is the beloved wife of the late Minas; devoted mother of Athina and John Philippides, Michael Kizoulis and his late wife, Joann; George and Sofia Kizoulis; Kalliopi and John Venetis; Dinos Kisoulis, Anna and Minas Perdicologos, and Haroula and Andreas Makris; adored grandmother of 16 and great-grandmother of 12.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer’s Association would be appreciated
