Rui Do Carmo

Rui DoCarmo, age 49, of Union NJ, passed away on Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, NJ.

Rui was born in Lisbon, Portugal and grew up in Newark, New Jersey. He is survived by his parents Antonio and Maria Olga; his sister and brother-in-law Susie and Dave Santos, as well as his cherished niece & nephew Samantha & Lucas. He also leaves his paternal grandmother Maria Lucilia Medley and his girlfriend Priscilla Perez.
Rui was an amazing chef and anyone who ever worked by his side, including his ex-wife Cheryl Rajewski knew he had a God given talent. He was a fun & loving friend, brother, and son. He will be missed dearly.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday December 8 at Galante Funeral Home in Union from 3-7 PM; followed on Wednesday with a funeral service at Hollywood Memorial Park and Cemetery in Union NJ at 10 AM.
