Rose C Preziosi

Rose Preziosi passed away at the age of 96 years on Saturday, September 19, 2026.

Rose was a devoted and deeply family-oriented woman, whose greatest joy came from entertaining and spending time with the people she loved. She was known for her generosity, thoughtfulness, and genuine consideration for others. She had a gift for making people feel welcome and at home, and she especially loved to cook and entertain for her family and friends.

Ahead of her time in many ways, Rose was always an ambitious, creative, intelligent, and hardworking woman. She possessed a strong independent spirit and was hard working. She was a familiar and beloved presence at Pizza House Restaurant in Cranford, where she was a Co-Owner and continued working until the remarkable age of 93.

Above all, Rose cherished her family. She took great pride in her children and grandchildren and was always there to offer her love, support, wisdom, and generosity. Her presence brought warmth to countless family gatherings, and the memories she created with those she loved will remain treasured for generations to come.

Rose was predeceased by her beloved husband, Vincent Preziosi; her parents, Salvatore Fama and Anna Fama; her brother, Anthony Fama; and her sisters, Marie Sousa, Anna Piegaro, Connie Mandell, Louise Fama, and Geraldine Weidner.

She is survived by her brother, Lawrence Fama, and her sister, Helen Bottone; her daughters, Sandra Simmons, Rene Preziosi, and Gina Preziosi; her son, Vincent Preziosi and his wife, Linda; and her grandchildren, Sydnie Simmons, Alexa Preziosi-Taht, and Mario Alejandro-Guzman.

Services for Rose will be held privately at Galante Funeral Home in Union.
