Rose M. Furman (Meirino)

Rose M. Furman of Elizabeth, NJ, passed away on Thursday January 29, 2026, at the age of 77. Rose was born on May 28, 1948 in the Galicia Region of Spain to the late Rosa (nee Meirino) & the late Faustino Meirino. She was predeceased by her husband, Paul K. Furman and her sister, Manuela Fernandez.

Surviving to cherish Rose’s loving memory is her faithful partner for 20 years, Ron Charles; daughters Adrian (nee Furman) Gardner & her husband William, and Krysten (nee Furman) Pantelic & her husband Pete. Rose is also survived by her eight grandchildren Jason, Rhyan, Parker, Autumn, Aubree, Colton, Quinn and Nolan.

Rose was a resident of Elizabeth for over 45 years. She had been a beautician in Elizabeth and the surrounding Union County area for more than 30 years.

Rose was a member of the Union Elks, where she enjoyed playing darts with her late husband. She spent her Saturdays and Sundays “garage-sailing” and collecting antiques. And she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held this Saturday February 7th at 12:00 noon in the Good Shepherd Chapel Mausoleum of Hollywood Memorial Park, 1500 Stuyvesant Avenue, Union, NJ 07083. Entombment in the Mausoleum will follow. Please arrive by 11:45 a.m. (Once in the cemetery call their office at 908-688-4300 for assistance to locate the Good Shepherd Chapel)
