Rose Arva (nee Viczena), 89 of Ringwood, formerly of Spring Hill, FL passed away on January 23, 2021.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation for Rose at the Galante Funeral Home, 54 Roseland Ave. Caldwell on Wednesday January 27 from 3-7 PM. A Funeral Service will be celebrated in the funeral home at 6:30 PM. Cremation will be held privately. Rose will be laid to rest beside her dear husband at Florida Hills Memorial Gardens this spring. Born in Sallaumines, France, Rose came to the United States with her beloved family in 1954, and proudly gained US citizenship in 1959. She raised her family in Ringwood, residing there for 30 years until moving to Spring Hill, FL in 1992. A talented baker and cook, Rose was also an avid gardener. She enjoyed frequent trips to France and Hungary to visit family, and most treasured time spent making beautiful memories with her loving family. Rose was so very proud of her heritage and always cooked wonderful Hungarian meals!
Rose was the beloved wife of the late Alexander Arva, who passed away in 2007. She was the loving mother of George Arva and his wife Cathie Ann, Alexander Arva and his wife Annie, Rosemarie Budde and her husband Henry and Robert Arva and his wife Beth. She was the dear grandmother of Autumn Camlin and her husband Geoff, Sarah Grosik and her husband Matt, Henry Budde and Amanda Budde; and adoring great-grandmother of River, Logan, Teddy and Ollie. She is also survived by her sister Julia Rado, and was predeceased by her brother Jean Viczena, and sisters Maria Brassart and Annette Fekete.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
