Rolanda Fernandez, 95 passed away on April 25, 2022.

Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother of Fanwood formerly of Newark.

Rolanda was born and raised in Newark she was a lifelong resident of the Ironbound section.

She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Concepcion (nee Pardo) Carbon.

She is survived by her son  Antonio Jr. and his wife Dale, daughter in law Sheila wife of the late Robert Fernandez.

She is also survived by her brother Joseph Carbon and his wife Mary Ann, a cousin Joseph Cacicedo, six Grandchildren and six Great Grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Rolanda worked for St. Michaels Medical Center in Newark for 13 years as a Patient Survey Analyst before her retirement.

Visitation is at the Galante Funeral Home 54 Roseland Ave in Caldwell on Friday from 9:30 - 11 AM with a funeral service being held in the funeral home at 11 AM.

Entombment will follow at Hollywood Memorial Park in Union.
