Robert C. LaCorte

Robert C. LaCorte, 44 of Elizabeth passed away on April 23, 2023.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation for Robert at the Galante Funeral Home, 2800 Morris Ave. Union on Friday April 28 from 4-9 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Genevieve's Church in Elizabeth on Saturday at 9:15 AM. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Westfield.

Born and raised in Brooklyn, Robert lived in Elizabeth. He worked as a service advisor for BMW of Bayside in Queens for 8 years, and then worked for Route 22 Honda in Hillside for the past 8 years. Robert was a die-hard fan of the New York Yankees and the New York Jets. He especially enjoyed playing fantasy football, basketball and baseball, where he won many competitions and awards. He was also a big fan of the Marvel movie series.

Robert was the beloved longtime companion of Nicole Coppola. He is also survived by his in-laws Louis and Lucille Confessore, brother in-law Jason Coppola and his wife Lisa, and their children Logan and Gabriel, step-sisters Renea Garguilo and Traci Uhteg and her husband Jason, and their children Justin and Emma. He was predeceased by his parents Robert and Loraine LaCorte and is also survived by his step-mother JoAnn LaCorte, and by his devoted cats Snowball and Cleo and a large group of life long friends that he called brothers.
