In Loving Memory of Robert Herman Hall Jr.

October 11, 1968 – July 14, 2025

Robert Herman Hall Jr. passed away peacefully on July 14, 2025, under the compassionate care of the nurses and staff at Toms River Medical Center in New Jersey. He was 56 years old.

Born the youngest of six children, Robert was a proud graduate of Central Regional High School. A passionate baseball player in his youth, he was known for his love of the game until an injury brought his time on the field to an early end. He later moved to Newark, where he worked diligently in the auto detailing industry and other skilled trades, earning a reputation for his work ethic and pride in a job well done.

A loyal fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and New York Yankees, Robert brought energy and enthusiasm to every gathering. He was always the life of the party — and proudly loud about it. He loved his family deeply, with a special place in his heart for his nieces, nephews, and great- nieces and great-nephews, to whom he poured out his love.

Robert is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Robert and Josephine Hall. He is survived by his sisters Belle Campbell, Judith Miller, and Donna Pate; his brothers Charles Hall and Stacy Hall; as well as a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and many friends who will carry his memory forward.

A man with a generous spirit, Robert was an organ and tissue donor — a final act of kindness that reflects the way he lived. He was truly loved and will be deeply missed.

“A life is not important except in the impact it has on other lives.”

— Jackie Robinson

Robert's life was full of laughter, love, and unforgettable impact. May he rest in peace.
