Robert Patrick Dlugosz passed away peacefully in his sleep on May 13, 2025 at his home in Union, NJ. Robert(Bobby) was born in Newark, NJ and raised in Union. He was preceded in death by his father Frank and sister Marie. Robert was also a proud father of daughters Jessica and Julia who he dearly loved. He is also survived by his Mother Barbara Dlugosz, sisters Lorraine Dlugosz, Diane Pruett, Sharon Vargas, Alyson Dlugosz and brothers Frank and Paul. Robert also leaves behind a long list of nieces and nephews and their children.

Robert enjoyed all activities related to fitness and sports and still played Men's league softball. He was also a big Yankee, Dallas Cowboy and Knicks fan and would watch every game he could. Robert had a long successful career as a Tech Engineer in the Financial and Pharmaceutical industries.

Robert will be greatly missed by his family.

A visitation for Robert will be held on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Galante Funeral Home, located at 2800 Morris Ave, Union, NJ. A mass will be held at 10:00 am at St. James Church in Springfield on Wednesday, May 21, 2025. Cremation will be held privately.
