Richard F. Kohler

Richard F. Kohler of Manalapan passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family on November 5, 2024. 

Born in Newark, Richard moved to Manalapan 43 years ago.

Richard was the beloved husband of Tobia (nee Battipaglia) loving father of Richard, Joseph and his wife Doreena, Robert and his wife Sue, Christopher and his wife Carolynn, and Scott. He was the son of the late Frank Kohler and the late Anna and Gaetano Esposito. He was the dear grandfather of Fallyn, Carissa, Brielle, Joey, Jenni, Danielle, Dylan and Tyler; great-grandfather of Evangeline, Noah and Scarlett; and the cherished brother of the late Chris Kohler.

Funeral is from the Galante Funeral Home 2800 Morris Ave. Union on Friday November 8 at 9:00 AM. A funeral mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Newark at 10:30 AM. Interment will follow at Marlboro Memorial Cemetery. Visitation is on Thursday from 3:00PM to 7:00PM at the funeral home.
