Raymond Oliver

Raymond Oliver, 58 of Irvington, formerly of Union passed away on March 6, 2022.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation for Raymond at the Galante Funeral Home, 2800 Morris Ave. Union on Sunday March 13 from 12 - 3 PM, with a funeral service being celebrated at 2:30 PM. Cremation will be held privately.

Born in Cleveland, Ohio, Raymond was a longtime Union resident until moving to Irvington several years ago. A proud graduate of Union High School, Raymond was a star athlete, competing in both football and track. He enjoyed training and weight lifting, and worked as a personal trainer for some time. Raymond was a die-hard fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and of Michael Jordan. A devout Christian, he also enjoyed time reading the bible.

Raymond was the loving father of Brandon Oliver and Xavier Oliver; cherished brother of Ronald Brooks, Edward Adams, Thereasa Buggs, Shirley Bishop and Rebecca Taylor; dear uncle of Kisaiah Brown, Kaisha Brown, Tracey Brooks, Shayna Brooks, Thereasa Curley, Sean Elliott, Dominick Elliott, Jada McGraw, Trina Williams-Walker, Soliel Bishop and Brianna Bishop, and nephew of Willie Adams and Annie Jewel Jolly.
