Prisco E. Ronquillo, passed away on April 17, 2025. He was born on September 1, 1937, in the Philippines. Prisco, brave and determined, chose to embark on a journey to the United States, where he immigrated in 1966. Over the years, he established his home in Carteret, New Jersey, for three decades before moving to West Orange a year prior to his passing.
He worked in the banking industry at Morgan Stanley in Jersey City, where he dedicated his expertise and knowledge. Prisco not only excelled in his professional life but also served his country as a veteran of the Filipino Air Force, embodying the values of courage and honor that mark those who protect their homeland.
Prisco will be sorely missed by his beloved family. He is the cherished husband of Clarita (nee Ilustrisimo), a partnership filled with love and mutual support. He leaves behind his son, Joseph Ronquillo and partner Brooke, and a daughter, Maria Bozzella, who is joined in marriage to Tony. His legacy will carry on through his grandchildren, including Joseph and Samantha and her husband Christopher.
He is preceded in death by his late sister Alberta Ronquillo and late brother Armando Ronquillo whose memory remains a cherished part of his lifelong narrative.
In honoring Prisco E. Ronquillo's life, his visitation will take place at Galante Funeral Home 2800 Morris Ave. in Union on April 23, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, with a funeral service beginning at 11:30 AM.
