Philip A Manno
Philip A Manno 93, was born on Feb 25,1927 and entered into eternal rest on December 14,2020
He was born and raised in Newark NJ where he resided until moving with his family to Union in 1971.
Philip served in the US NAVY during World War II and was aboard the USS CHILTON until he was honorably discharged .
He was married to the love of his life ,Theresa Manno for 71 years until her passing in August 2019.
Philip worked for Mac Automotive Warehouse for many years before opening his own business called “Phil’s Place” in Irvington NJ which he successfully ran until his retirement.
Phil was a loving father to Philip, his son and his wife Suzanne.
He was loved and adored by his daughter Patti and enjoyed his relationship with her companion Michael.
He was the brother of the late Jerry Manno, George Manno, Phyllis Auriemma and Carmela Coiro.
He leaves behind his sister in law Alexis as well as her daughter Christian.
Philip will be missed by his (5) grandsons Philip David, VJ, Christopher and Daniel As well as his (6) GREAT grandchildren
Chloe, Nick, Amy, Gianna, Michael and David.
Philip loved spending time with his family, playing cards, watching the Yankees as well as “Everybody Loves Raymond”
You could always count on Phil to “fix whatever was broken” and find him “puttering and tinkering “ in his well organized workshop that he was so proud of .
Dad you will be so greatly missed.
