Pearl Denstman

Pearl Denstman, 90, passed away peacefully on June 27, 2026, in Boca Raton, Florida.

Born on November 22, 1935, Manhattan, to Irving and Ethel Denstman, Pearl was raised on the Lower East Side and was a proud New Yorker for most of her life before later making Boca Raton, Florida, her home. After the untimely passing of her father, Pearl helped raise her younger sister, Sheila- a responsibility that shaped her resilience, determination, and lifelong devotion to family. 

Driven to provide for those she loved, Pearl built an extraordinary career in finance at a time when few women worked on Wall Street. She began her career at Muriel Siebert & Co., where she worked alongside Muriel Siebert, the first woman to own a seat on the New York Stock Exchange. She later continued her career at Robb, Peck, McCooey, where she remained until her retirement. Pearl was respected for her intelligence, professionalism, and determination, and quietly helped pave the way for women in the financial industry.

Family was always at the center of Pearl's life. She was a devoted sister, aunt, and great-aunt who took immense pride in those she loved. She is survived by her beloved brother-in-law, William Meklinsky; her devoted nephews, Ian Meklinsky and his wife, Susan, and Jason Meklinsky and his wife, Dina; and her cherished great-nieces and great-nephews, Jacob Meklinsky and his wife, Ariana, Drew Meklinsky, Ethan Glassgold, Olivia Glassgold, Alec Meklinsky, and Jack Meklinsky. Pearl was predeceased by her beloved sister, Sheila Meklinsky, and her cherished niece, Pamela Glassgold. 

Beyond her career and devotion to family, Pearl embraced life with enthusiasm, style, and an infectious sense of humor. She loved the theater, enjoyed a good drink with family and friends, and had a vibrant personality that could light up any room. Quick- witted, engaging, and endlessly charismatic, she had a gift for making people laugh and feel at ease. Whether sharing stories, enjoying a Broadway show, or simply spending time with those she loved, Pearl lived life to the fullest and left an unforgettable impression on everyone she met. She will be remembered for her resilience, generosity, and unwavering devotion to her family. Her life was a testament to perseverance, grace, and living each day with spirit and purpose. She leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and inspiration that will live on in all who knew her. 

A private burial service will be held by the family.
