Norma "Lola" Lim

Norma "Lola" Gonzalez Lim was a resident of Union for 22 years. Born on February 24th, 1943 in Cebu, Philippines, Norma is survived by her 9 children and her many grandchildren. She worked as a loving nanny to a handful of today's Filipino youth and was also a hardworking Costco employee, serving everyone with a smile and with her infamous charisma.

 Norma was known to befriend everyone everywhere she went and always brought life to the party – her beautiful spirit and love spread far and wide. She fought a two year battle with breast cancer, keeping her wits and fashion through it all, before passing away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family here and her Cebu family through social media.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation for Norma at the Galante Funeral Home, 2800 Morris Ave. Union on Thursday February 16 from 5-7 PM.

A Funeral Service will be celebrated in the funeral home at 6:30 PM. Burial will be in the Philippines.
