Eleanora "Nora" Merola, 64, of Basking Ridge passed away on March 6, 2018 .

Sister of Helen Lysaght and her Husband Dennis also the late Nicolas and Virginia Vitale.

Daughter of the late Ignatz and Yolanda (nee) D'Alessio Vitale.

Survived by her Niece Cheryl and her Husband Zac Wermer and great nieces Eleanorah, Seraphina, Annaliese Wermer.

Nora was born in Newark, was raised in the Vailsburg section. She lived in Union, Westfield, Scotch Plains and then Basking Ridge.

She was a Vice President of Mortgages at Mountain Mortgage in Union for many years.

Visitation at Galante Funeral Home 2800 Morris Ave. Union on Friday from 3 -7PM.

Committal services will be held at the Chapel at Short Hills Mausoleum, 451 Millburn Ave, Millburn, NJ on Saturday 10AM.
