Nelson was born in Rego, Portugal and settled in Long Branch NJ in 1987 before moving to Hillside NJ 10 years ago.


He was a member of Labors Union Local 472 for many years.


A funeral mass will be held on Thursday at Our Lady of Fatima Church in Newark at 9:30 AM


Visitation will be at the Galante Funeral Home 17 Pacific St. Newark (Ironbound) on Wednesday from 7 - 9 PM


He will be missed by all of his family and friends
