Michele Rossi

Michele Rossi (nee D'Alessio) passed away on June 16 2025 at the age of 74. Born in Newark and raised in Bloomfield, Michele attended St Francis School, Our Lady of Good Council and graduated from Bloomfield High School. 

With her interest in Medicine she became a Medical Assistant and worked in Columbus Hospital in Newark. She married her beloved husband Dr. Anthony Rossi in 1974 and lived in Mexico with him for several years. On return to the United States she worked for St Barnabas Hospital in the comptroller's office and ultimately in her husband's office for many years.

Michele loved to spend vacation time at the shore and loved to frequent Atlantic City. She loved to travel to Italy and Disney World with her family.

She is predeceased by her father Anthony D'Alessio and mother Florence D'Alessio (nee Caprio). She is survived by her husband Dr. Anthony Rossi, her son Anthony and sister Melinda Onsdorff.

Funeral from the Galante Funeral Home 54 Roseland Ave. Caldwell on Friday June 20th at 9:30AM.

 Funeral Mass at St. Anthony's of Padua Oratory,  West Orange. at 10:30 AM

Visitation Thursday June 19th from  4-8 PM.

 Interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
