Mary Ann Martucci

Mary Ann Martucci, 59, of Linden, entered eternal rest at 1:03 PM on Saturday, January 4, 2020 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ.  She was born June 26, 1960 in Newark, NJ to Frank "Reets" and Mary Ann "Mema" Martucci.

Survivors include her daughter Gabrielle Basulto; two brothers, Frank Martucci and Carmen Martucci; one sister, Florence Martucci; one sister-in-law, Dawn Martucci; one uncle, Carmen Malangone; and two nephews, Nico Carlucci and Frank Martucci.  Her parents preceded her in death and were waiting to be rejoined at the gates of heaven.

Mary Ann was a true Jersey girl.  She spent her entire summers at the Jersey Shore where her family owned a house in Seaside Park.  She had bronze skin, bleach blonde hair, big designer sunglasses, and was never afraid to tell you how it is.  Her favorite things to do down there were to run the family owned parking lot, take long bike rides to B&B, go garage sailing on the weekends, enjoy the salty air and drink her black cup of coffee.

She was always so full of life and had a heart of gold.  She would give you the shirt off her back if you needed it, or would volunteer to take a ride with you at 2:00 AM so you wouldn’t have to go somewhere alone.

The visitation is from 4 PM until 8 PM on Thursday, January 9, 2020 at the Galante Funeral Home in Union, NJ.  The funeral service will follow at 10 AM on Friday, January 10, 2020 at Saint John the Apostle Church in Linden, NJ.
