Marion Biasi, “Gampy”, 86 passed away on January 8, 2022 at her home in Northampton, PA.
Marion was born on October 8, 1935 in Jersey City, NJ, a city she called home for much of her life. Marion was kind, generous and full of life. She enjoyed sharing time with family and friends at holiday celebrations or vacations at the Jersey shore.
She was a fiercely loyal Mets fan and was certain that she would one day get to see a World Series win. She loved to gamble, watch horse racing and play dominoes at home on a Saturday night.
Marion’s greatest joy was being a “Gampy” to her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She could often be seen at their sporting or music events cheering loudly from the sidelines or finding her way to the front row led by her walker.
Marion’s greatest desire was to bring joy to her family, who she showered with unconditional love and acceptance.
She is predeceased by the love of her life, her cherished husband Joseph Biasi, her beloved parents, Anthony and Josephine Caruso and her “baby” brother Frank “Butchie” Caruso, who she longed to see again.
Marion is survived by her brother, Anthony Caruso and his wife Jacqueline and her sister Elizabeth Planz and her husband Robert and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She leaves behind her loving children, daughter Deborah Weaver and son in law, Joseph, daughter Darlene Fusco and daughter in law, Vilma and her son Gary Biasi, and daughter in law Patricia Biasi who will all miss her greatly. Marion was adored by her grandchildren, Gary, Amanda and Kyle and great grandchildren, Destiny, Allen, Dalton and Maria. Being a “Gampy” to them and the children and adults who grew to love her gave her immeasurable joy.
Please join us in celebrating the life of our beloved “Gampy”
