Maria Z. Desiderio, of Union, NJ, passed away Sunday, December 4, 2022, at Cornell Hall in Union.

Born in Uruguay on March 10, 1931, Maria was a homemaker. She was deeply devoted to her family.

Maria was predeceased by her husband, Omar. Maria is survived by her loving daughters, Ivonne Tadeo and Silvia Forne, and by many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be on December 6, 2023, from 5-7 pm at Galante Funeral Home, 2800 Morris Ave in Union, NJ. There will be another visitation at 10:00 am on December 7, followed by a service at 11:00 am in the funeral home. The entombment will follow at Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum.
