Marc Leger

Marc Leger, born on August 7, 1946 in Port-Au-Prince Haiti, passed away peacefully on September 12, 2026, surrounded by his children and grandchildren. He was 80 years old.

From an early age, Marc had a gift for storytelling and entrepreneurship -- qualities that launched him into a career in radio. When he later came to the United States, he parlayed that same warmth and sharp instinct into real estate where he built a career as a formidable broker in New Jersey. Marc helped thousands of families achieve pride of ownership as the founder of The Marc Agency. He poured over every contract to make sure his clients got the best possible deal, and over the years he helped countless families put down roots in the state he came to call home.

Outside of work, Marc’s curiosity never rested. He was a devoted lover of classical music, and he enjoyed playing the piano as well as attending concerts. He loved to travel seeking out new places, foods and experiences. He also had an endless appetite for new technology, the latest gadgets and puzzles. Those who knew him will tell you: there was nothing Marc couldn’t figure out.

Marc is survived by his beloved wife of more than 50 years, Gladys Leger, along with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchild.

Friends and family are invited to attend a visitation for Marc on Friday, September 25 from 4:00PM-8:00PM at Galante Funeral Home located at 2800 Morris Avenue in Union.
