Magdaly Laurent

Magdaly Laurent, born Marie Magdaly Casseus, was born on Tuesday, May 17, 1966, to the late Andrea Casseus and Dussort Brudent, in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. 

In 1987, she married the love of her life, the late Raynald Laurent, and of their union bore four children. Magdaly continued her education in the United States when she obtained her nursing training at the New Community Corporation LPN Program. Being a nurse was more than a job for Magdaly, it was her calling and passion. Not only was she a nurse, she also was the leader of the Health Department for her local church in Cranford, NJ, sharing her passion with others. You could always find a friend, a sister, and a confidante in Magdaly. 

Magdaly leaves behind her four darling children: Jemima, Raynald Manoah, Tabitha Danielle, and Benjina Darly Laurent; her grandchild, Adom Laurent Agyemang, affectionately called Boubou, and her dog, Theo. She was preceded in death by her late husband, Raynald Laurent, and both of her parents. She also leaves behind her siblings, cousins, nieces, nephews, godchildren, and brothers and sisters in Christ. She will be dearly missed.
