Luzviminda Tolentino

d. January 5, 2019

Luzviminda V. Tolentino, 83 of Summit passed away peacefully on January 5, 2019.

Funeral Services are being held privately.

Born in Davao, Philippines, Luzviminda lived in West Orange for many years before settling in Summit 10 years ago. When she first arrived in the United States in 1970, she and her family owned a Filipino restaurant, and ran a food truck in Chinatown, NY. Later, she worked as a national salesperson for Japan Life, and for Kangen Water Purifiers for many years. Luzviminda loved to dance, and travel throughout the world; but was usually found reading a favorite book, or surrounded by her loving family.

Luzviminda was the beloved wife of the late Manolo Tolentino; loving mother of Ruben Serrano, Benjamin Serrano, Chuchi Serrano and Virginia Tulio; dear sister of Ester Beery, Dolores White, Felisa Lacerna, Virginia Fox and Leonora Vidallon; grandmother of Matthew, Sean, John and Kian Serrano, and Tiffany and Michael Tulio; she is also survived by her great-grandchild Kameron Jacob Tulio-Castillo.
