Luis A. De La Fuente Chavez

Luis A. De La Fuente Chavez, 76 of Elizabeth passed away on December 21, 2025.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation for Luis at the Galante Funeral Home, 2800 Morris Ave. Union on Friday December 26 from 8:30am to 12:30pm. A Funeral Service will be celebrated at 12:00pm in the funeral home, and entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery at 1:30pm.

Born in Lima, Peru, Luis has been an Elizabeth resident since 1989. He was a hard-working man who deeply cherished his family.

Luis was the beloved husband of Graciela; loving father of Miguel De La Fuente Chavez, Liz V. Lopez, Alex De La Fuente Chavez, Alex Nunez, Gilbert Nunez, Juan Carlos De La Fuente Chavez Salgado, Liliana De La Fuente Chavez, and the late Luis A. De La Fuente Chavez. He was the dear grandfather of Carolina, Edward, Miguel A., Andres, Lisette, Luis, Sebastian, Mery and Alexcito. He is also survived by his siblings German De La Fuente Chavez, Fernando De La Fuente Chavez and Ana Belen De La Fuente Chavez, and his nieces and nephews Luis Loayza, Graciela Verbout, Erika Loayza, Flor Acosta, Maria Ruesta and Zoila Carneiro.
