Louise Estrada

Louise Estrada of Springfield, NJ passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on May 9, 2025.

Affectionately known to her family as “Nucha”, she was a living example of kindness throughout her life. She was born in Newark, NJ on February 1, 1948 to Louise Conzo. After graduating high school, Louise worked for NJ Bell for over 30 years. During that time, she met her husband, Abel Estrada and shared 51 wonderful years of marriage. Their enduring bond was a testament to her belief that family was at the heart of everything.

Louise dedicated her life to nurturing and supporting those closest to her. Always there with a listening ear, a comforting presence and a strong sense of guidance. She was a woman of incredible strength, intelligence, grace and love; the heart and soul of her family.

Louise is survived by her husband, and their two sons: Christopher and Shawn; Daughter-in-law Kelly; and her three grandchildren: Alexander, Jordan and Oliver. She is also survived by her sister, Alice Trindade; cousins: Juanita Egoavil and Josephine Conzo; niece, Dana Trindade and nephew, Nicholas Trindade. She is predeceased by her grandmother, Encarnaciόn Maceiras, mother, Louise Conzo, father and brother, Manuel Conzo and brother-in-law, Fernando Trindade. Louise was a loving grandmother to Alexander, Jordan and Oliver. She cherished family gatherings, loved to cook, go to the theater, travel but above all, spending time on the sidelines watching her grandchildren play soccer. They were her heart.

Louise will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, cousin, aunt and friend by many. Her kind and warm spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed by her family, whose lives were touched by her unconditional love, warmth and unwavering support.

A private service will be held for family members at Galante Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 14, from 9-11am.
