Lorenzo Marotti

Lorenzo Marotti, passed away on May 29, 2025, at the age of 68. Born on September 29, 1956, in Newark, Lorenzo's passion for life was evident in both his career and the way he touched the lives of those around him.

Lorenzo enjoyed a fulfilling career as a car salesman, he had an innate talent for understanding the needs of his customers, earning their trust and respect over the years. This profession not only reflected his interest in cars but also showcased his commitment to service and excellence.

Outside of work, Lorenzo embraced life with a vibrant spirit. He was known for his enthusiasm for skateboarding, rollerblading, dancing, and surfing, activities that highlighted his adventurous personality. The ocean held a special place in his heart, serving as a source of inspiration and joy throughout his life.

Lorenzo is survived by his loving siblings, Gregory Marotti, Lisa Marotti, Tommy Marotti, and Sammy Marotti and his wife Rita, who will remember him fondly. He is also survived by his beloved nieces and nephew: Megan Verea, Gina Marotti, Michelle Marotti, and Sammy Marotti Jr. Additionally, his close friend, Hector Cardona, and Nancy Zuena along with her family were significant parts of his life, providing companionship and support.

He was preceded in death by his late father, Savano Marotti, and his late mother, Louise Melo.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Lorenzo's life during a visitation at Galante Funeral Home in Union, NJ, on June 1, 2025, from 1 PM to 5 PM. A graveside service will be held at Hollywood Cemetery in Union, NJ, on June 2, 2025, at 11 AM. As we remember Lorenzo, let us honor his spirit, rich experiences, and the love he shared with all who knew him.
