Lisa Palermo-Farro

Lisa Palermo-Farro, 59, of North Caldwell, New Jersey, passed away on August 22, 2025. Born in Belleville, New Jersey, she grew up in West Caldwell.

Lisa is the cherished daughter of Barbara Palermo (née Crawley) and the late Frank Palermo. She is survived by her loving husband Dean M. Farro, her father-in-law Rosario Farro, her mother-in-law Mafalda, and her brother Joseph Palermo and his wife Marisa. She also leaves behind her brother-in-law Andrew Farro and his wife Melanie, and her sister-in-law Denise Collins and her husband Al, and her cousin Dena DeSantis. She will also be deeply missed by many nieces and nephews. In addition to her family, Lisa is adored by six dogs who were an integral part of her life. Lisa is also predeceased by her beloved soul dog, Coco who greets her with open paws.

Lisa had a profound love for dogs and often spoke of their companionship as a source of joy in her life. Her nurturing spirit was evident in all her relationships, and her love for family was unwavering.

Funeral is from the Galante Funeral Home, 54 Roseland Ave. Caldwell on Wednesday September 3 at 10AM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Church in East Hanover at 11:30 AM. Cremation will be held privately. Lisa's visitation will be held on Tuesday September 2 from 4-8 PM at the funeral home.

Her legacy of love and compassion will continue to resonate in the hearts of all who knew her.
