Lisa Ann Lombardi, 61, of West Caldwell, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family, on May 28, 2018.

A Memorial Celebration of her life will be held at the Galante Funeral Home, 54 Roseland Ave. Caldwell on Friday June 1 from 4-8 PM.

Born in Paterson, Lisa grew up in Montville before moving to West Caldwell 35 years ago. She was a well-loved and respected teacher's aide throughout the Caldwell-West Caldwell Public School system for many years. She was known for her love and devotion of working with children.

Lisa had a deep affinity for creatures great and small, from her many cats to the fauna that would frequent her backyard. She loved spending sunny days at the beach. She enjoyed any music that she could sing along or dance to. She had a loveable laugh, a beautiful, kind smile, and a dazzling sense of style. She will be most remembered by her fierce, unwavering, selfless love for her children, to whom she dedicated her life.

Lisa was the loving mother of  Zachary DiIonno and his fiancé  Kira Chong Tim, Jade DiIonno and her fiancé Mauro Ledonne, Alex DiIonno and his wife Jillian, and Alana Dederick; dear sister Amanda Devereux and her husband Andrew, David Lombardi and his wife Kelly, Melinda Gerdts and her husband Paul, and Amy Lombardi. Lisa also leaves behind many loving nieces, nephews and friends.
