Leonardo Fantetti, Sr.

Leonardo Fantetti, Sr.,88 of Kenilworth passed away at home on December 21, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Italy, he moved to Toronto, Ontario, Canada before moving to Orange with his dear wife in 1966. The family finally settled in Kenilworth 20 years ago. Leo had the unique ability to fix just about anything, especially if he could use caulk. His unwavering dedication to his craft earned him a reputation as an expert and a reliable source of support for his family and friends.

Leo was also a passionate supporter of the Toronto Blue Jays, often sharing his enthusiasm for the team. Above all, he treasured time spent with his grandchildren.

 Leonardo is survived by his loving wife, Concetta; his loving children: Maria Teresa Basile and her husband Thomas; Josephine Cioffi and her husband Joe; Carmelina Casolaro and her husband Paul; and Leonardo Fantetti, Jr. and his wife Jessica. He leaves behind his grandchildren who he cherished deeply, Gabriella, Salvatore, Ariana, Paulie, Carmine, Anthony, Isabella, Dante and Lorenzo, as well as adored great-grandchildren Matteo and Roman.

He is also survived by his brothers, Dominic Fantetti and his wife Filomena; Louie Fantetti and his wife Pina; and Rocco Fantetti and his wife Antoinette. He was predeceased by his brotherTony Fantetti, and by his wife, Donata.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation for Leonardo at the Galante Funeral Home, 2800 Morris Ave. Union on Friday December 26, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Theresa Church in Kenilworth, NJ, on Saturday December 27, 2025, at 10:30 AM. Entombment will follow at Hollywood Memorial Park.

Leonardo Fantetti Sr. will be remembered for his remarkable skills, his love for his family, and the warmth he brought to all who knew him. His presence will be profoundly missed, yet his spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those he touched.
