In Loving Memory of Ledonia Mesidor 

July 26, 1940 – July 29, 2025

With heartfelt sadness and sincere gratitude for a life well-lived, we share the peaceful passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, Ledonia Mesidor. She left us on July 29, 2025, just three days after her 85th birthday, leaving behind cherished memories and a lasting impact.A longtime resident of New Jersey and Florida, Ledonia warmly opened her heart to everyone around her. Her kindness, generosity, and unwavering faith touched countless lives. 

She was a devoted mother to Serge Mitial, Magdaliah Mitial, Carline Eliezer, Roger Eliezer, Marie Gouin, and Claude Gouin. Her love extended generously to her grandchildren: Sheena Mitial, Christopher Mitial, Rebeccah Mitial, Tristan Leneus, Jeremiah Mitial, Nicole Mitial, Natali Mitial, Marc Bois, Bedilia Bois, Amaya Sosa, Ariella Bois, Jean Clervil, Carla Eliezer, Jonathan Gouin, Briana Gouin, Max Gouin, Rachel Gouin, Mathew Gouin, James Gouin, and Sarah Gouin. Among the extended families affected by her passing are nieces Pastor Marie Coulanges, Jovany Marcellus and family, Rosemonde Narcisse and family, Marie-Carl Elizer and family, Helene Johnson and family, Elvance Saintvil and family, Abner Noel and family, Marlene Eliezer and family, Carline Rameau and family, Lionel Joseph, Sheila Brun, the Polynice and Bernard families, Luther, Lolotte Saintcloux and family, Renette Laguerre and family, Sister Marie Rose Pierre, and Mr. and Mrs. Caymitte. Among those she considered her children equally are Rev. Pastor Marc Evans Joseph, Alette Bonaney, Gertrude Saint-Louis, Marise J. Williams, Roseline Belizaire, and their respective children. Ledonia’s spirit will always shine brightly through the many lives she touched, the beloved family she cherished, and the vibrant Haitian community she dedicated herself to. She will be deeply missed—more than words can say—but forever remembered with love, pride, and heartfelt gratitude.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 9th, at the Crossroads Christian Fellowship Church located at 2815 Morris Ave, Union NJ 07083, at 8:30 am.
