Lawrence V. Gallagher 79, Passed away on May 25, 2018 of Union NJ formerly of Jersey City.

He is survived by his wife Janet (nee Senatore) of 50 years.

Father of Joan Slein (husband Michael), Kelli Petino (husband Pete) and Stacie Gallagher.

Brother of James, Ronald, Robert, Raymond, Irene Free and Genevieve Dougherty.

Grandfather of Emily, Julia, Kassidy, Abbey and Luke.

Brother-in-law of Ann Marie Miller and Arlene Moore.

Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Lawrence worked as a plumber for 43 years at Kean University and Jersey City State University before retiring.

He was an active member of St. Genevieve Church, serving as an usher and Eucharistic Minister.

Funeral from the Galante Funeral Home 2800 Morris Ave Union on Wednesday at 8:30AM.

Funeral Mass at St. Genevieve Church in Elizabeth at 10 AM.

Entombment at Hollywood Memorial Park Union.

Visitation Tuesday from 4 - 8 PM
