Kenneth James Coleman

Kenneth James Coleman, 60 of Union passed away on August 18, 2026.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation for Kenneth at the Galante Funeral Home, 2800 Morris Ave. Union on Sunday August 23 from 2-8 PM. A Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home on Monday at 11 AM. Interment will follow at Glendale Cemetery in Bloomfield.

Born and raised in Jersey City, Kenneth lived in Brick prior to moving to Union 20 years ago. He worked for AIG in Kenilworth as a computer programmer for many years prior to his retirement five years ago. 

Kenneth enjoyed cooking, and was a huge music and movie buff. He treasured time spent cheering on his beloved New Jersey Devils. Above all, Kenneth's family was paramount. Time with them filled him with the greatest joy. He will be dearly missed.

The devoted son of Rosemarie and the late Gary Coleman, Kenneth was the dear brother of Gary Coleman and his wife Susan, Scott Coleman, and the late Michael Coleman and Patricia Diaz. He was the cherished uncle of Lisa (Matt), Kerri (Michael), Jonathan, Scottie, Lauren (Derek), Ryan (Kayla), Amanda (Sean), Mikey, Gary and the late Danny; and adored great-uncle of Mikey, Hunter, Sean, Chase and Tristan. He is also survived by several loving cousins.
