Kazimierz Komosinski

Kazimierz Komosinski, 79 of Whitehall, PA, formerly of Union passed away on April 27, 2026.

Funeral is from the Galante Funeral Home, 2800 Morris Ave. Union on Thursday May 7 at 8:30 AM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Michael's Church in Union at 10:15 AM. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Woodside, NY. Visitation will be held on Wednesday May 6 from 5-9 PM at the funeral home. 

Born in Poland, Kazimierz served in the military there before moving to Greenpoint, Brooklyn in 1970, and settled in Union in 1983. He worked for Trans-World Airlines and later American Airlines in their maintenance departments for many years. Later, he enjoyed working for Springfield Acura until his retirement in 2020. 

Kazimierz was a devoted parishioner of St. Michael's Church. He was hardworking and devoted husband, father and grandfather who would do anything his family needed without hesitation. Never sitting still, he fixed anything he could get his hands on, whether it needed fixing or not. Kazimierz was fiercely proud of his heritage, and will be sorely missed.

Kazimierz was the beloved husband of Florentyna; loving father of Christopher Komosinski and his wife Jill, Teddy Komosinski and his wife Stacy, and the late Jan Komosinski; dear grandfather of Vic, Kimberly, Madelynn, Charlie, Tyler, Anissa, Ryan and Anna; and cherished brother of Zutek and Halina.
