Kathryn Solimine

Kathryn Solimine, 75, passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with progressive supranuclear palsy. A woman of remarkable strength, elegance, and intelligence, Kathryn faced her illness with grace and quiet determination, leaving a lasting impression on all who knew and loved her.

Kathryn was a devote daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She is survived by her loving brother Emil Solimine, and his wife, Yvonne (nee Melillo), and by her loving sister, Geraldine Solimine, who selflessly cared for Kathryn throughout her illness with unwavering devotion. Daughter of the late Alfred and Matilda (nee Torrieri). She was a cherished aunt to her nephews David and Emil Joseph, and her nieces Alexandra and Darian, as well as a proud great-aunt to countless great-nephews and great-nieces, all of whom will miss her deeply.

Professionally, Kathryn was a formidable presence. She worked side by side with her brother as Chief Financial Officer of EMAR Insurance in Livingston, New Jersey, where her sharp mind, integrity, and leadership helped shape the company's success. Beyond her professional accomplishments, Kathryn will be remembered for her beauty, impeccable style, and commanding presence. She was truly a force - confident, capable, and unforgettable.

Kathryn's legacy lives on in the family she loved, the lives she influenced, and the strength she demonstrated every day of her life She will be missed beyond measure and remembered always.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects to Kathryn's life during a visitation on Tuesday January 27, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Galante Funeral Home 2800 Morris Ave. Union, New Jersey. A Mass honoring her life will be held at 10:00 AM at St. Rose of Lima in East Hanover followed by entombment at Gate of Heaven in East Hanover.
