Julius Livecchi, Jr.

Julius Livecchi, Jr., 57 of Newark passed away on December 11, 2015.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 259 Oliver St. Newark on Tuesday at 9:30 AM. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum. Arrangements are entrusted to the Galante Funeral Home, 17 Pacific St. Newark.

Born in Jersey City, Julius was a lifelong Newark resident. He proudly served his country in the Marines for eight years before becoming a longshoreman at PNCT Terminals in Newark for 27 years. Julius had a heart of gold and could always make his loved ones smile and laugh.

Julius was the son of Amalia and the late Julius, Sr.; beloved husband of 28 years to Elvira (nee DeLuca); loving father of Julius III; and brother of Angelo, Joey, Mary and Linda.
