family. Born on September 25, 1946, in Irvington, NJ, to Frank and Margaret Janus, Joyce grew
up in Union, NJ, where she graduated from Union High School in 1964. Joyce spent most of her
life in Union, enriching the community with her boundless energy and compassion.
From 2009 until her death Joyce served as the Executive Director of the Environmental
Contractors Association of NYC and leaves behind a legacy of profound impact fostering growth
within the Associations and cherished relationships with all she worked with. Joyce was deeply
respected and beloved by all who knew her.
Joyce devoted an extraordinary amount of time for the betterment of others. She worked with
Solace House USA, a suicide prevention organization. She also brought her passion for service
to the Boy Scouts of America, Greater New York Council. Joyce’s unwavering dedication,
leadership and compassionate spirit left a mark on every community she touched.
Known for her big heart and very caring nature, Joyce loved to be around her family, her
Mayfair family, and all her friends, laughing and having a good time. She was the heart of every
gathering, whether sharing a glass of wine, enjoying a hearty meal, or hosting a lively party.
Joyce was there to help with anything anyone needed. She was a wonderful cook and loved to
share her food with all those around her. Joyce was also an animal lover, especially her dogs,
Maddie and Bentley, and her grandpuppy Niko.
Above all, Joyce was a devoted mother and a doting "Grammy." Her unwavering support and
love for her children and grandchildren knew no bounds. Joyce was predeceased by her
husband, Vincent F Nastasi III. She is survived by her loving children, Donna Randall and her
significant other Mark; Lisa Grecco and her husband Angelo, and Thomas Nastasi and his wife
Michelle; her grandchildren Michael and Brayden Nastasi; her brother Donald Janus and his
wife Wendy.
