Jose Giestal Esteves, 73 of Clark, New Jersey passed away peacefully at home on October 10, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones.

Jose was born in Sopo, Vila Nova de Cerveira, Portugal, in 1952 to Manuel and Eduartina Esteves. He came to the United States to build a better life and worked hard to provide for his family. After 24 years of dedicated service, he retired from Tuscan Dairy.

Jose was an avid cyclist, a sports fanatic, and a stock market enthusiast.

He is survived by his loving wife, Maria, and their three children — Joe and his wife Roxy, William and his wife Michelle, and Vitina and her husband Michael. He was a proud grandfather to six beautiful granddaughters: Donatella, Gianna, Stella, Milania, Reagan, and Margot.

A loving brother to his siblings and cherished uncle to his nieces and nephews. His family was his greatest pride and joy, and he cherished every moment spent with them.

Jose will be remembered for his kindness, patience, humor, and love for his family. He will forever be missed and never forgotten.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during visitation at the Galante Funeral Home in Union, NJ, on Monday October 13, 2025, from 3:30 PM to 7:30 PM. A Mass will be held on Tuesday October 14th at 10:30am at St. Theresa Church in Kenilworth, followed by entombment in Hollywood Memorial Park in Union.
