John R. Izzolino, a loving husband, father, grandfather, and cherished friend, passed away surrounded by the love of his family.

John will be remembered most for the joy and laughter he brought into the lives of those around him. He had a wonderful sense of humor and an unmistakable ability to make people laugh, often bringing lightness and warmth to any room he entered. His kindness, wit, and generous spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

John shared a devoted life with his beloved wife, Theresa Izzolino. Together, they built a family filled with love and memories that will endure for generations. He was a proud father to John M. Izzolino, Joseph Izzolino and Stefanie Wrembel, and a loving father-in-law to Stephane Wrembel.

John was also a devoted grandfather to Henri and Marcelle, who brought him immense joy and pride. He treasured his time with them and the special bond they shared.

John was predeceased by his beloved son, John M. Izzolino, whose memory remained an important and treasured part of his life.

Beyond his family, John had a passion for fencing, a sport he loved and embraced with enthusiasm. Those who knew him will remember not only his interests and accomplishments, but the warmth, humor, and personality that made him truly unforgettable.

John leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories. He will be deeply missed by his wife Theresa, his children Joseph and Stefanie, his son-in-law Stephane, his grandchildren Henri and Marcelle, and his many family members and friends who were fortunate enough to know and love him.

His laughter will live on in all of them.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation for John at the Galante Funeral Home, 54 Roseland Ave. Caldwell on Thursday October 1 from 9 to 11am. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Raphael Church in Livingston at 11:30am. Cremation will be held privately.
