John D. Montana

John D. Montana, 95, of Springfield, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at Center for Hope Hospice in Scotch Plains.

Funeral services are in care of the Galante Funeral Home, 2800 Morris Avenue, Union, NJ.  A funeral mass will be held at St. James Church in Springfield on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at 10:30 am. Interment to follow at St. Teresa Cemetery in Summit.

John was born October 18, 1925 to the late John and Margaret Montana in New York and lived with his wife and family in Springfield for many years. He served in the United States Navy during WWII and worked as a self employed lithographer.

Beloved husband of the late Amelia (nee Cavaluzzo). Loving father of John Montana Jr. and Janice Montana. Cherished grandfather of John and his wife Bethany, and Nicole Montana. Great grandfather of John and Jason Montana.
